Flashcards
Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-27
These terms apply when you use Flashcards, a free flashcard site run by the operator of Flashcards. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: (contact address not set yet).
Your account
Use a real e-mail address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You need to be at least 13 (younger students: with a parent or teacher).
Your cards stay yours
You own what you create. You let us store, show and process it so the site can work for you. Decks are public unless you choose otherwise; while a deck is public or unlisted, you also let other people view and study it, ★ favorite it and make their own copies of it on this site.
What you may upload
- Only cards and pictures you made yourself or have permission to use. That includes sets you bring over from Cram.
- Nothing illegal, hateful, sexual, violent, or that shares other people’s private information.
- No spam, and no attempts to break, overload or get around the site’s limits and security.
We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. If something on the site uses your work without permission, write to (contact address not set yet) with a link to it and what it copies, and we will take it down.
A free service, as it is
The site is free and provided as it is, without guarantees: we work to keep it running and your cards safe, but we can’t promise it never has errors or downtime. Features may change. If the site ever closes, we will try to give at least 30 days’ notice and a way to download your cards. Some extras (such as more storage for pictures) may cost money in the future; you will always see the price before you pay, and the free features stay free.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Japan. If they change, the date at the top changes too, and big changes are announced on the site before they apply. See also the Privacy policy.
