Put Flashcards on your home screen: it opens full screen from its own icon, straight to your decks, and shows a friendly screen instead of an error when you’re offline. Free, like the website.

Android

  1. Open this page in Chrome.
  2. Tap ⋮ (top right), then Install app or Add to Home screen.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open this page in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (at the bottom of the screen; on an iPad, at the top).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen .
  4. Tap Add. Flashcards is now on your home screen and opens full screen, like any app.

On iOS 16.4 and later this works from Chrome and Edge too, through their Share button.

Computer

In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install Flashcards. It then opens in its own window.
